The Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology Health Care Center provides counseling services, health promotion and prevention services to students on the STUST campus.

Their mission is to provide high quality, client oriented services and resources in health promotion and disease prevention, primary care, and counseling to the STUST student community. They strive to facilitate the completion of students' academic careers at STUST by promoting healthy lifestyles and caring for students' physical and psychological well-being.

There is a hospital “Chi- Mei Hospital”, is located next to STUST campus. Chi-Mei has a large staff of medical providers committed to providing patients with quality medical care. In addition, there are also many smaller specialist clinics near the STUST campus.
