To open a post office or bank account in Taiwan, simply take your passport and ARC to the post office or bank at which you wish to open an account.

You need the following documents to open an account:

1. Valid passport,
2. Alien Resident Certificate (ARC), and
3. Chinese name chop. (If you need one made, ask us for directions to a chop store.)
