 Dr. Te-Kuang Chou

Te-Kuang Chou is the vice president and professor of finance in Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST). He has joined STUST since 1993 and had served as the dean of the Office of Academic Affairs, the dean of the Office of International Affairs, the dean of the College of Business, the vice dean of the College of Business, the director of e-Business Program, the director of the Graduate Institute of Financial & Economic Law, the dean of the College of Commerce, and the chair of the Department of Finance. Under his leadership, the College of Business, STUST has been accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business), and significantly strengthened its cooperative connection with business community and international academic institutions.

Outside STUST campus, Te-Kuang has constantly been invited as a visiting/guest professor to teach in other business schools, including AEI (Faculté d'Administration et Echanges Internationaux) at University Paris-Est Creteil, Faculty of Economics and Management at Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague. He currently serves as a member of Continuous Improvement Review Committee at AACSB, a member of Public Debt Management Committee for Tainan City, and an independent director of Nantex Industry Co., Ltd.

Te-Kuang earned his Ph.D in Management from National Sun Yat-Sen University (Taiwan), MBA in International Business from Chinese Culture University (Taiwan), LL.M in International Commercial Law from University of California, Davis (US), and AS in Banking and Insurance from National Taipei Commerce University (Taiwan). He was elected as an honorary member of the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society (1996). His current research interest includes corporate governance, industry analysis, and business policy.
